The Electra is one of the classic line of twin engined civil aircraft produced by Lockheed during the 1930s and 40s. An aircraft of this type was flown by Amelia Earhart in 1937 for her unsuccessful around the world flight.
The model is shown in markings of the Spanish Nationalist air force having been captured from the Republican air force.
Lockheed XC-35
Execuform
This experimental aircraft was developed from the Electra 10. It had a pressurized cabin, smaller windows, a different shaped fuselage and more powerful engines than the earlier Electra.
